COLUMNIST and Evangelist Art Gabot Madlaing at the Philippines Today office
SAN FRANCISCO – Author, columnist and evangelist Art Gabot Madlaing will speak at the “Bring a friend and family Sunday” on October 30, 11:00 am at the Golden Gate Church of Christ(GGCC) Auditorium, 701-8th Avenue (near Golden Gate Park) in this city.
Readers and the general public will have opportunity to meet and talk with the syndicated columnist on “Health & Wealth” and founder of Fitness for Humanity (aka Fitness for Christ) and ACAPINOY.
Guests to the “Bring a friend and family Sundaywill receive autographed copies of the book “Historicity of Jesus” and free Fish Bracelet made from recycled magazines as source of livelihood by single parents, widows and poor families from Cebu and Leyte, who experienced the massive devastation of Typhoon Yolanda (aka Typhoon Haiyan).
Art Gabot Madlaing was a former elder (or pastor) and now an active evangelist at the Golden Gate Church of Christ in San Francisco. A graduate of the University of the Philippines (U.P. College of Forestry), he finished special studies on Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey and Historical Christian Evidences at Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI) based in Lubbock. He is a member of the “We Care” Ministries Team which successfully conducted “We Care” Evangelism Campaign and Workshop in Pangasinan, Baguio City, Tarlac, Makati in Metro Manila, Cavite, Iloilo and Banga, Aklan in the Visayas in 2013, 2015 and in February, 2016. The We Care” Ministries Team had a courtesy call and prayer session with boxing icon, former congressman and now Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao inside his mansion in General Santos City in Mindanao last February 19, 2016.
Guests to the “Bring a friend and family Sunday” are cordially invited to join the Potluck Lunch Fellowship at the Fellowship Hall after the morning worship services. Autographed copies of “Historicity of Jesus” and free fish bracelet will be distributed during the lunch fellowship. The lunch fellowship will be followed by ACAPINOY (a capella singing of favorite gospel songs and heavenly hymns in English, Spanish, Tagalog, Ilocano, Pangasinan and Cebuano).
