SHOWBIZ Sarah Geronimo, Matteo Guidicelli Headed to Splitsville or the Altar?

Top singer and television host Sarah Geronimo and actor Matteo Guidicelli headed to Splitsville?
Or on the way soon to the altar?
During the recent weeks, reports or plain rumors have come out that they have broken up.
The rumors were fueled by Matteo’s solo concert in which he has not involved Sarah who is the good singer.

Also, Sarah also got jealous with Shaina Magdayao who is paired with Matteo in “Single/Single.”
But Sarah herself denied  the rumor that she and boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli are on a cooling off period and headed for breakup.
“Hindi naman po kami naghiwalay (We have not split),” the singer actress told her mother studio ABS-CBN in its news program “TV Patrol.”

“Dumating na po ako sa pagkakataon na isipin n’yo kung ano ang gusto n’yong isipin, sabihin ninyo kung ano ang gusto n’yong sabihin. Alam ko kung ano ang buhay ko, alam ko kung anong nangyayari sa amin,” she said.
The Popstar Princess was also asked to comment on Matteo’s statement that he wants to marry Sarah.

She echoed the Kapamilya actor’s statement, but still believes that “only God knows” if they’ll end up together.

Sarah, meanwhile, will have her concert “From the Top: Sarah Geronimo” on December 4 and 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Showbiz authority Mario Bautista himself believes Sarah and Matteo have not split.

“Okay naman kami, happy kami at hindi kami naghihiwalay gaya ng gustong palabasin ng ibang tao,” Sarah wazs quoted by the columnist as saying.
“Dumating na nga ako sa punto na bahala na sila kung ano ang gusto nilang isipin kasi kahit anong sabihin namin, may sasabihin pa rin sila. Kasi ganun naman sa showbiz, ‘pag hindi pa kayo umaamin, pilit kayong paaaminin. ‘Pag umamin naman kayo, may intriga nang gusto kayong paghiwalayin,” she said as reported by the columnist.
“So, bahala na lang sila, basta ang importante, alam ko kung ano ang tutoong nangyayari sa akin at sa buhay ko. Kaya gusto ko talaga, maging private na lang kami pagdating sa aming dalawa. Mag-focus na lang tayo sa mga positive na nangyayari sa buhay natin. Naniniwala naman akong puedeng pagsabayin ang career at lovelife basta pareho kayong nagkakaintindihang mabuti,” she added.

Matteo has said she’s the girl he wants to marry.

Matteo  admitted wanting to settle down with Sarah.

The actor said Sarah is the person who can make him cry and the person he wants to see everyday.
Matteo, who is set to have a solo concert next month, said he chose not to work with Sarah so fans won’t accuse him of using the singer-actress for his own gain.

“That’s why as much as possible, ayaw namin magkatrabaho. We don’t want our real lives in our work lives,” he said.

In a previous interview, Matteo said he does not want to involve Sarah in his first solo concert for the same reason
Sarah agrees with Matteo. “Siya rin talaga ang gusto ko, pero kung magiging kami bang talaga in the future, only God knows,” she said.

She looks so slim these days, reported Mario Bautista. What is her secret?

Sarah has quick answer. “I really work out regularly in preparation for the concert, lalo na nang maging two nights ito. So kailangan, malakas ang resistensya ko, ang stamina ko to be able to perform difficult production numbers for two consecutive nights. I feel I have to do this to be fit not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. Bale eighth big concert ko na ito in a big venue and I want to make it unforgettable para sa lahat ng manonood nito.”

Sarah’s “From the Top” concert is under the overall direction of Paolo Valenciano with Louie Ocampo as musical director.
Matteo’s first solo concert, “MG1”, is set at the Music Museum on November 28 starting at 8 p.m.
The solo concert comes after doing a three in one show with JC De Vera and Daniel Matsunaga, “Dreamboys”, in the same venue months ago.

His guests this time are Martin Nievera and Morisette. The very athletic Matteo is about to be launched as an action star in BG Production’s “Tupang Ligaw”, where he does his own stunts, and is also projected as a romantic leading man in Cinema One’s “Single/Single”, but singing has always been one of his great passions.

Few people know that he actually took up singing lessons for theater musicals in the States. And now, aside from his first solo concert, he is also launching his self titled debut album under Star Records.
